Jelly Roll divorce is 'PR stunt,' Nicole Arbour alleges
Nicole Arbour insists breakup is not real and tied to a planned “launch”
Nicole Arbour claimed that Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO’s divorce is a staged publicity stunt, alleging the pair are using the split to set up a future career “launch.”
The comedian made the comments during an interview with The Post, where she suggested the couple is deliberately manufacturing controversy for attention and commercial gain.
“Jelly Roll and his wife will create a PR scandal,” Arbour said, referring to the country star and his estranged wife. “They create a giant scandal with the press that they get off of, then launch something.”
She added that she believes the divorce itself is part of that strategy, though she did not provide evidence for the claims.
Divorce Follows 10-Year Marriage
Jelly Roll (born Jason Bradley DeFord) filed for divorce from Bunnie XO, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, in May after 10 years of marriage.
Despite the filing, Bunnie XO has publicly said the split is amicable and that the pair are parting on good terms, according to comments shared on her Dumb Blonde podcast.
The couple have been open about maintaining a continued connection following their separation, including discussions about their future plans.
Arbour’s Ongoing Feud With Jelly Roll
Arbour has repeatedly made allegations against Jelly Roll in recent years, including claims of harassment and disputes tied to her music and social media content.
She has also released diss tracks targeting the singer, further escalating tensions between the two parties.
In earlier statements, Arbour alleged she reported incidents to authorities, though no charges were filed, according to previous reports cited by media outlets.
Claims Remain Unverified
Arbour also alleged that Jelly Roll faced professional and financial fallout due to her accusations, including sponsorship losses and changes in ticket demand, though these claims have not been independently verified.
Representatives for Jelly Roll have previously declined to comment on specific allegations, instead pointing to past legal disputes involving Arbour that were dismissed.
Neither Jelly Roll nor Bunnie XO has responded directly to Arbour’s latest comments.
