Prince Harry and Meghan appear to visit Princess Diana's childhood home
The family's UK visit also included a reported reunion with King Charles, who spent time with his grandchildren
Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, appear to have taken their children to Princess Diana's childhood home during their recent summer vacation, according to new photos shared by Meghan on social media.
The Duchess posted a series of family photographs on Instagram with the caption, "Summer Holiday," offering glimpses of time spent with Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5.
One image, believed to have been taken at Althorp House, shows Harry and Archie walking down a tree-lined avenue carrying bouquets of flowers, while Lilibet follows behind.
Althorp is the Spencer family estate where Princess Diana spent much of her childhood and where she was laid to rest following her death in 1997.
The post also included photos thought to have been taken during a family getaway in Portugal, featuring beach scenes and Harry playing with his children in a swimming pool.
Another picture showed Archie sitting in the cockpit of an aircraft wearing a pilot's hat as he explored the controls.
The Sussexes, who live in California, recently travelled to the United Kingdom, where Harry reunited with his father, King Charles, at Highgrove House.
The meeting reportedly allowed the King to spend time with his grandchildren for the first time in four years.
Reports have suggested the family may have stayed at Althorp with Harry's uncle, Charles Spencer, during the visit amid questions surrounding accommodation arrangements in London.
Harry's UK trip was reportedly complicated by a disagreement over where he would stay. Although his team had initially indicated he would be accommodated at Buckingham Palace, the arrangement did not materialize.
According to reports, palace officials said a required notice period had not been met, while Harry's representatives described the outcome as "disappointing," claiming the accommodation offer had been withdrawn at the last minute as security arrangements were still being finalised.
Harry travelled to the UK ahead of Meghan and the children, who later joined him for the family visit.
