Prince Harry has got himself engaged in a number of scandals and controversies before walking in his mother's charitable footsteps and marrying Meghan Markle.

One of the Prince’s infamous controversies is coming to the screens as it has been reported that Harry’s infamous Nazi uniform moment will be recreated in the upcoming final season of The Crown.

For the unversed, the Duke of Sussex attended his friend, Olympic show jumper Richard Meade’s fancy dress-themed birthday party wearing the Nazi regalia in January 2005.

Harry, then 20, landed himself in hot waters as his outfit featured the swastika armband as well, giving an exact look of a Nazi uniform.

Prince Harry’s Nazi uniform pictures were published on the front pages of national newspapers. Following the controversy, Harry apologised, saying that he was “very sorry if I caused any offence or embarrassment to anyone”, adding: “It was a poor choice of costume and I apologise.”

The Crown season six actor Luther Ford, who plays Prince Harry as a young adult in the final season, recreated the infamous snap for the series.

Moreover, Prince Harry also discussed the scandal in his Netflix documentary series, saying that wearing the costume was “probably one of the biggest mistakes of my life”.

The Crown final season will cover Princess Diana's death as well as Prince William and Kate's relationship in the early days. Season six is expected to release in November this year.
