Florence Pugh experienced a startling moment during a promotional event in Brazil for Dune: Part Two. 

The 27-year-old star was hit in the face by a flying object thrown by an audience member while posing for pictures with her co-stars and director Denis Villeneuve.

Videos capturing the incident circulated online, showing Pugh expressing surprise and placing her hand on her eye. 

Timothee Chalamet and Austin Butler, standing nearby, also showed concern for the actress. 

Although Pugh later picked up the object, the nature of the item remains unclear.

The incident occurred during the CCXP 2023 panel in Sao Paulo, where the cast was promoting their upcoming sci-fi sequel.
