Hugh Grant admitted playfully to not enjoying collaboration with Timothée Chalamet
Hugh Grant has shared his candid insights into working with the Timothée Chalamet, in the highly anticipated film Wonka.
In a Jimmy Fallon show interview, the Notting Hill actor admitted to not enjoying collaboration with the 27-year-old co-star and playfully teased him for frequently mentioning his French heritage.
Timothée, pretending to be a member of the audience, enthusiastically called out, "Here Please!”
In a shared video, he disguised himself in a stick-on moustache and red Love Actually baseball cap, he gushed at Hugh, “Big fan, happy to see you.”
He inquired, “You've worked with some incredible actors throughout your career. I mean some really incredible actors.”
The Dune star asked, “I was just curious where does Timothée Chalamet rank on that list?”
Hugh confessed, “Well, I'm assuming this isn't part of the show that's going to be broadcast so I'll tell you the truth.”
He added, “To be honest, I didn't like him. None of us did. I don't know what it is. There's something just weird about that whole French ‘Timothée Chalamet’”
Hugh continued, “Je suis Francais, Do you like me?”
Timothée nodded, “For sure, for sure, for sure.”
