Dua Lipa and Mark Ronaon recalled composing Dance the Night for Greta Gerwig's summer blockbuster movie, Barbie.

Mark shared that Greta wanted the track to represent barbies so he tried “a couple of different ideas.”

Dua revealed that she was on a tour last year “relentlessly” when she received Mark’s text about composing a song for Barbie.

The songstress noted that she flew to New York to work on Dance the Night and started brainstorming with Mark.

Greta Gerwig’s Barbie earned 1.442 billion dollars worldwide.
