Sir Ringo Starr has lived in Los Angeles on and off since 1973
Sir Ringo Starr recently confessed that he loves the "atmosphere" of Los Angeles.
The 84-year-old icon, who has lived in Los Angeles on and off since 1973, told Mojo magazine, "When I first came to America and we landed in New York, I wanted to live in New York."
He went on to say, "And then we want on tours around and we came to Los Angeles, I'd think, 'Uh ... maybe Los Angeles. No New York! Maybe Los Angeles. L ... A!"
According to Ringo, he just loved the atmosphere, the light and the heat.
Before concluding, the Let It Be hitmaker, who starred in the Beatles alongside John Lennon, Sir Paul McCartney and George Harrison, admits to loving everything about the city.
His interview comes few days after the drummer claimed that Taylor Swift's popularity is the "closest thing" to Beatlemania for this generation.
Sir Ringo Starr in an interview with American Songwriter, said, "I think Taylor Swift is great anyway. She’s pulling them in, you know."
