Lord of Rings star Sean Astin's 4 fathers mystery finally explained
Sean Astin, for his memorable performances in The Goonies, Rudy, and The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and in show business in general, has one of the more interesting family histories, particularly in Hollywood.
During an interview, Astin commented on his childhood, stating that he was raised alongside four different men, each of whom fathered him. Now, it was common knowledge that his mother was Patty Duke, but for many years, the identity of Astin’s father remained a secret.
