The ‘Twisters’ actor reflects on lost chance to host 'SNL' four years ago
Glen Powell recently made his Saturday Night Live hosting debut.
During his monologue, the 37-year-old actor revealed that he had an opportunity to host the show four years ago, but things took a dramatic turn due to COVID-19.
When he got the offer, Powell and his family were so excited that even a curious UPS driver joined in.
"So we all took a selfie with him, and this is the selfie to mark the occasion," he stated.
The Anyone But You actor added, "But then my dream got taken away, 'Top Gun' got delayed because of COVID, so 'SNL' had to take their offer back."
On the professional front, The Running Man, starring Glen Powell, is currently premiering in theaters.
