Ethan Hawke opens up about landing role in Taylor Swift’s 'Fortnight'

Ethan Hawke recently shared the back story of starring in Taylor Swift’s hit song Fortnight music video last year.

During a discussion with Variety’s co-editor-in-chief, the 55-year-old actor said, “My daughter is creating opportunities in my life,” referring to Maya Hawke.

Ethan added, “I got a text from my daughter, ‘Hey dad, Taylor Swift wants your number, Cool?’ Yeah, that's cool.”

Toward the end, he also shared that The Fate of Ophelia songstress is a die-hard fan of Dead Poets Society, in which Ethan starred as Todd Anderson.
