‘Stranger Things 5’ newcomer melts hearts with sweet praise for cast
Stranger Things Season 5’s newest cast member, Jake Connelly, who plays Derek Turnbow, recently opened up about his experience filming the hit Netflix series.
Speaking with PEOPLE, the young actor shared that the cast immediately made him feel like he had been part of the show from the very beginning.
"They’ve made me feel like I was there since day one.” Jake said, adding, “They just really welcomed me in and made me feel like I wasn’t an outsider.”
He also noted that the cast’s constant moral support helped him feel more confident and comfortable in his performance.
Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 1 is currently premiering on Netflix right now.
