Sadie Sink shares her ‘Spider-Man 4’ casting was spoiled by fans: Watch

Stranger Things star Sadie Sink has revealed the unexpected way she learned about her casting in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

The 23-year-old actress, best known for playing Max Mayfield, recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she shared that she found out about the role through online speculation before getting an official offer.

“I found out through online theories. Like before I got cast in Spider-Man, like there was speculation online that said, ‘Sadie Sink is going to be in the new Spider-Man’ and I was like ‘I Am’,” The Whale actress said.

She added, “And then sure enough, like two days later, they were like they asked me to do it. so yeah, these theories there’s sometimes some truth to it.”

The upcoming sequel, starring Sadie Sink alongside Tom Holland, is set for release on July 31, 2026.
