Saturday Night Live's Hogwartz spoof sparks debate following broadcast
SNL ran a parody sketch, as part of the January 17, 2026 episode of Saturday Night Live hosted by Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard, titled Heated Wizardry that parodies the wizarding world of Harry Potter with the viral HBO drama Heated Rivalry.
The bit created a parody of an HBO trailer, which researched Hogwarts and Quidditch with identical vapid rivalry elements as the popular hockey romance.
