The comedy and acting worlds are reeling from the loss of Alex Duong, who passed away on March 28 at the age of 42. Known for his roles on Blue Bloods, The Young and the Restless, and Everybody Hates Chris, Duong’s life was cut short by a rare form of soft tissue cancer. According to close friends, he passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones and finally free from the pain he had endured during his year-long health battle.
Before his diagnosis, the Dallas native was a fixture at the legendary Comedy Store and had been planning an ambitious 41-state tour. Beyond his professional achievements, Duong is being remembered as a devoted father who cherished every moment with his five-year-old daughter, Everest. Fellow comedians, including Jeff Ross, have shared heartfelt tributes, highlighting the profound impact he had on the Roast Battle and Comedy Store families during his vibrant career.
