Music icon Cher is making a heartbreaking and desperate move to save her youngest child, Elijah Blue Allman. New court documents reveal that the singer has filed for a temporary conservatorship, describing the 49-year-old as "gravely disabled." The petition highlights a distressing cycle: after receiving large quarterly payments from his late father Greg Allman’s trust, Elijah allegedly spends the funds on drugs and luxury hotels until he overdoses or ends up hospitalized.
The legal filings paint a grim picture of mountain-high debts, including unpaid taxes and money owed to drug dealers, alongside erratic behavior that has led to his removal from numerous hotels. This marks Cher's second attempt at a conservatorship after a previous bid was dropped when Elijah promised to get sober. Currently held in a psychiatric hospital, Elijah faces felony charges and remains unable to manage his own affairs, leaving his mother to fight for his survival through the legal system.
