High school is officially in session for Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka’s teenagers. The couple recently opened up about navigating this new era of fatherhood with their twins, Harper and Gideon. As rising high school sophomores, the kids are becoming increasingly independent, which requires a careful parenting balance of staying supportive from the sidelines.
Growing up in a creative household, the twins have naturally developed a deep love for theater, movies, and television. While Harris wouldn't necessarily encourage them to start acting at a young age like he did, both parents suspect their children might end up in entertainment-adjacent careers after finishing college. The proud dads also jokingly revealed that as native New Yorkers, the teens have no interest in learning to drive just yet, preferring to rely on subways and rideshare apps instead.
