Elisha Cuthbert is finally back in the spotlight after taking a four-year break from acting. The star, famous for her roles in The Girl Next Door and 24, recently shared the heartwarming reason behind her long absence. During a June 17 appearance on Today, Cuthbert explained that balancing work with her first child was incredibly difficult. When she and her husband welcomed their second child, she decided she did not want to waste any precious moments on a film set.
Instead, she chose to stay home and focus entirely on her family. Now, the 43-year-old actress is making her return in Prime Video's new series, Every Year After. Back on set, Cuthbert has enjoyed mentoring younger co-stars like Sadie Several, sharing her past Hollywood experiences to help guide the next generation of actors.
