Chris Hemsworth rings in 40th birthday with Liam Hemsworth, Owen Wright

Chris Hemsworth turned 40 on the morning of Friday and embarked on a surfing adventure alongside his brother Liam Hemsworth and friend Owen Wright.

Accompanied by Owen, the trio shared joyful moments in the parking lot before making their way to the beach.

Owen seemingly gifted the Thor famed actor with a copy of his personal memoir as a birthday gesture, bridging a smile to Chris’s face as he glanced at the book.

Following this, the group of trio changed into wetsuits before entering the beach.

Elsa Pataky, 47, took to Instagram to wish her husband Chris Hemsworth with the series of snapshots.

She began the post with, "That’s exactly the face a made when I turned 40 my love."

Teasing the Avengers: Endgame actor she said, "But don’t worry, it’s gonna be ok! I’ll be here for you too hold your hand and give you all my beauty secrets, even if you look better than ever. Happy birthday chrishemsworth!"

Furthermore, last year the Interceptor star celebrated Hemsworth’s birthday with a series of images, including a goofy picture of her partner in a bathtub with a bird on his head.

"Happy birthday to my favourite parrot trainer, kids handler and wife tamer, There's nothing you can't do. We love you to the moon and back," Pataky wrote in the caption at the time.

Taking to Instagram, Chris Hemsworth thanked all his well-wishers and fans for sending him love and birthday wishes.

The renowned actor wrote, "Thank you for all the birthday wishes. Another lap around the sun and still going strong."

"I can safely say not a single piece of cake made it through the night," he continued.
