Mariah Carey displays impeccable humor in trendy 'Of Course' video

Mariah Carey demonstrated a great sense of humor as she jumped into the viral ‘Of Course’ video trend on social media.

The 54-year-old songstress took to her official Instagram account to upload a hilarious reel she created on Sunday, January 14, 2024.

In the uploaded video captioned, “Sunday Camp! #ofcourse," the All I Want For Christmas Is You singer can be seen parodying daily routine habits that would go with her diva personality.

With her track, Obsessed, playing in the background, the first cinematic shot shows Carey, supposedly at her home gym, sitting back on her leg press machine, rocking a shimmery gold gown along with platform heels and loosely open wavy hair.

“I’m Mariah Carey … of course this is my workout ensemble,” she said to the camera, adding the humorous punchline, “1, 1000…” as she pretended to work out on her machine.

Then, the Queen of Christmas can be seen in a white silk dress with fancy sleeves, lying in bed with a full face of glam make-up.

“I’m Mariah Carey … of course my glam squad is on standby,” she said as her team approached her with a touch-up brush and a hair curler.

In the third clip, she can be seen reading her 2020 memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey, in a bright pink-coloured robe along with a pair of brown sunglasses

“I’m Mariah Carey...of course I’m reading my own book!” she said with some sass.

Towards the end of the video, Carey could be seen sitting beside her puppies as they got massaged by her team members.

“I’m Mariah Carey … of course my puppies get pampered after they poop,” she said. She then stroked her pooches as she said to them, “Hey babies, yes…”

This humorous video comes shortly after the popstar announced her split from longtime partner, Bryan Tanaka in December and posted a glamorous selfie with the caption, “New year, new beginnings..taking a picture from my “bad side”!”
