Millie Bobby Brown reveals the adorable tradition she shares with her daughter at home

Millie Bobby Brown is offering a heartwarming glimpse into life as a mother, revealing that creativity and imagination play a big role in the special moments she shares with her young daughter.

The Stranger Things star, 22, opened up about motherhood while attending the launch of Blooms by Play-Doh's new adult-focused collection in New York, where she reflected on how she and her daughter enjoy spending time together.

Brown, who welcomed her daughter through adoption with husband Jake Bongiovi in 2025, said their favorite activities include arts and crafts, puppet shows and dressing up in costumes.

“Dressing up is a big one for me,” Brown said.

The actress recalled her own childhood love of costumes, saying she enjoyed pretending to be princesses, knights and even dinosaurs.

“I was big on a bunch of costumes. I loved costumes,” she said, adding that the family's playroom now features “a very big costume rack.”

Brown explained that she encourages her daughter to use her imagination and create stories during playtime.

“We enjoy any kind of creative environment where we're able to create our own story,” she said. “I really encourage that.”

The actress also revealed that her daughter's artwork has become a treasured part of their home, with every drawing proudly displayed.

“Anywhere we go, [her artwork] is always up on display because I'm so proud of her creativity,” Brown shared.

She added that she and Bongiovi also enjoy painting together, explaining that while their artwork may not be extraordinary, it holds special meaning for their family.

“It's not anything special, but it's special to us,” she said. “And that's what makes it a home.”

Although Brown said it's still too early to know what creative passions her daughter may develop in the future, she has already noticed one standout quality.

“She uses her voice a lot, so I'm very intrigued about that,” Brown joked. “She's loud like mama. So I'm always going to encourage her to speak louder.”

Brown and Bongiovi, who married in 2024, announced the arrival of their daughter through adoption in August 2025.

At the time, the actress shared on social media that the couple were excited to begin “this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”

The family has since settled into life on their Georgia farm, where they are raising their daughter surrounded by a variety of animals.

Brown has previously described motherhood as “a beautiful, amazing journey,” saying her daughter has changed her perspective on life.

“She’s taught us so much already,” the actress said in an earlier interview. “Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love. It’s just endless joy.”

More recently, Brown also admitted that nothing could have prepared her for the overwhelming love she feels as a mother, calling the emotion “incomprehensible.”
