Adobe's new AI tool offers affordable plans for video creation

Adobe has launched the first public version of its AI tool, which can aid in to create video clips.

The AI tool named Firefly Video Model has been created to compete against OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT.

However, the company won’t set prices for large customers like movie studios until later this year.

Adobe's tool stands out because it is designed to work with Premiere Pro, Adobe's popular video editing software used in film and TV production.

Moreover, AI can generate clips to fix or enhance footage from real-world production sets that didn’t turn out as expected.

The service can produce five-second clips in 1080p resolution. Although shorter than the 20-second clips created by OpenAI’s model.

The Adobe executives explained that most clips in a production are typically only around three seconds long.

For the unversed, the owner of Facebook, has also developed a video-generation AI, but it hasn't shared a release date.
