Charlize Theron reveals her online dating experience

Charlize Theron has opened up about her disappointing experience into online dating, revealing she’s unimpressed with the matches she’s met on the dating app.

Speaking on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the Atomic Blonde star a question from a viewer, who asked whether Charlize was on Raya.

“I am,” Theron admitted, but quickly clarified: “I don’t do anything with it.”

The Oscar-winning actress, who split from model Alex Dimitrijevic after two years of dating, said a friend helped her sign up and she went on just two dates before losing interest.

She shared her frustration over the men she encountered, who misrepresent their true selves.

“Every guy has a Burning Man picture. And they’re, like, a CEO — of nothing. Then you meet with them, and they're not,” she said.

“I just say it up front. I’m like, ‘Well, why did you put that on your thing?’ No, I don’t like it,” Theron concluded.

The 48-year-old has never married but has had high-profile relationships in the past, including with Craig Bierko, Stephan Jenkins, Stuart Townsend, and Sean Penn.

The actress is the founder of the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project and is mom to two children, Jackson, 12, and August, nine, whom she adopted from South Africa.
