Kim Kardashian has revealed that her mother, Kris Jenner, was desperate to suppress footage of a physical brawl between her daughters.

Speaking on the Khloé In Wonder Land podcast, the 45-year-old Skims founder recalled the infamous season 18 "slapping fight" with her older sister, Kourtney. As tensions boiled over on camera, Kris reportedly panicked about the family's image.

“Mom was like, ‘This can never see the light of day,'” Kim shared, adding that she overruled her mother because the drama made for compelling television.

The sisters also revisited their long-standing feud regarding their Italian weddings. Kim famously accused Kourtney of "stealing" her wedding country and favourite performer, Andrea Bocelli.

Despite Kourtney warning her that the outburst made her look "insane," Kim insisted on keeping it in the final edit.

“I go, ‘Perfect. Put it on. It’s making it.’ She was like, ‘No, no, I’m telling you, sister to sister, you look crazy.’ And I was like, ‘Good. I love it,'” Kim explained, noting she often views their lives through a "producer’s eye."

Khloé Kardashian admitted she finds the sheer volume of their filmed history daunting, joking that she doesn't even "want to know what’s on the editing floor."

For Kim, however, the raw and sometimes "crazy" moments are what define their reality legacy.

Although she once joked about needing "an attorney" before the fight episode aired, she remains committed to showing the unfiltered, messy reality of sisterhood, regardless of her mother's reservations.
