Rihanna, A$AP Rocky spotted with heavy security after home shooting

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were spotted together in New York City during their first public appearance since a frightening incident occurred at their California home last week.

On Tuesday, the pair were surrounded by security as they left a building in Manhattan and headed to an awaiting SUV.

Rihanna sported cuffed jeans, snakeskin boots, a gray sweater, and a leather jacket for the occasion, while Rocky trailed her in a black trenchcoat and a baseball cap.

Authorities confirmed to Page Six that the woman accused of the shooting at Rihanna's home on March 8 is 35-year-old Ivanna Ortiz.

She was taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department on charges of attempted murder and now faces potential life imprisonment.

Ortiz appeared in a courthouse in Los Angeles County for her arraignment and plea hearing on March 10, as shown in court documents.

Besides the attempted murder charge, she faces additional allegations, such as nine counts of assault with a firearm, two counts of shooting into a lived-in home, and one count of firing at a motor vehicle.

It's alleged that Ortiz used an AR-15-style weapon to fire at Rihanna’s $14 million residence, where she lives with A$AP Rocky and their three children — RZA, 3, Riot Rose, 2, and Rocki Irish Mayers, 5 months old.

Police addressed the shooting report at 1:21pm, promptly detaining Ortiz.

Images from the nine-time Grammy Award winner's home revealed that the front security gate was hit with bullets before they damaged an airstream trailer parked in the couple's driveway.

During a press briefing post-Ortiz's hearing, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman relayed that both Rihanna and Rocky were inside the trailer when shots penetrated its windshield.

Additionally, it was reported in court on Tuesday that the Florida resident targeted another house in Rihanna’s neighborhood during the shooting, with two individuals present at the time.
