Chris Pratt reveals his youngest children 'have never seen movies'

Hollywood actor Chris Pratt has revealed that his three youngest children remain entirely unaware of his cinematic career, having never viewed a film.

The 46-year-old star, known for leading major franchises such as The Super Mario Bros., attributed this domestic arrangement to the parenting philosophy of his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt.

Speaking to Today during the promotion of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Pratt confirmed that his 5-year-old, 3-year-old, and 16-month-old are currently growing up in a screen-free environment.

The actor, who shares 13-year-old Jack with former wife Anna Faris, and Lyla, Eloise, and Ford with Katherine, explained that his household maintains strict boundaries regarding digital entertainment.

He noted that Katherine is "very old-school when it comes to screens and technology and all of that stuff," which explains why his youngest children have not yet seen their father portray iconic animated heroes.

"So, we're waiting," Pratt added, indicating that the restriction is a matter of timing rather than a permanent ban.

Pratt remains optimistic that his children will eventually appreciate his professional achievements once they reach an appropriate age.

The Mercy star expressed a hope that his work will one day serve as a point of connection within the family.

"There's gonna be a season, they're gonna realise their dad is really cool. They haven't realised it yet, but one day," he concluded.

For now, the global superstar remains a regular father at home, far removed from the blockbuster worlds he inhabits on screen.
