Five new supporting cast members join A24's 'Peaked'
Gordon is directing from a script by Levitan
A24‘s new comedy Peaked, from Molly Gordon and Allie Levitan, has cast five more in supporting roles: Amy Sedaris (Is This Thing On?), Owen Thiele (Adults), Jaya Harper (Roommates), Emil Wakim (Saturday Night Live), and model-influencer Alex Consani.
Character details are under wraps. The film follows the two girls who traumatised you in high school as they try to relive their glory days at their 10-year reunion.
As previously announced, Gordon is directing from a script by Levitan, with the duo starring opposite Emma Mackey.
Others in the cast include Laura Dern, Simone Ashley, Levon Hawke, Mitra Jouhari, Gabby Windey, and Connor Storrie.
A24 is financing the project and producing alongside David Hinojosa, Zach Nutman and Gordon, with Levitan exec producing.
A WGA Award winner and Emmy nominee, Sedaris worked alongside Gordon on her Searchlight movie Theater Camp, has recently been seen in Bradley Cooper’s Is This Thing On? and will next be seen starring alongside Brett Goldstein and Jennifer Lopez in Netflix’s Office Romance. She is repped by UTA and Schreck Rose Dapello.
Thiele was also in Theater Camp and has more recently been seen starring in the series Adults and Overcompensating, along with the acclaimed indie Idiotka. He is repped by UTA, Entertainment 360, and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller.
Part of the cast of Chandler Levack’s forthcoming Netflix comedy Roomates, Harper is repped by CAA and Untitled Entertainment.
