The $34 product Emma Stone swears by for red carpet hair perfection

Emma Stone turned heads at the 2026 Oscars red carpet in an ethereal backless Louis Vuitton gown, and her hairstylist says the actress’s flawless tresses have a surprisingly simple secret.

According to celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham, Stone relies on Olaplex No. 3Plus Complete Repair Treatment, a $34 hair-care product she calls her “secret weapon.”

Cunningham revealed that Stone not only uses the treatment before major appearances like the Oscars, but also applies it herself between appointments to maintain healthy, vibrant hair.

“That’s why she always kills it on the red carpet,” Cunningham said in a press release.

The revamped Olaplex formula works in just three minutes seven minutes, faster than the original, and is clinically proven to make hair three times stronger, softer, and healthier-looking after a single use.

Stone wasn’t the only celebrity turning to Olaplex for awards season. Ballet star Misty Copeland, actress Jessie Buckley, and stylist Zanna Roberts Rassi also incorporated the brand’s fast-acting formulas into their pre-show routines.

After prepping with Olaplex, Stone’s hairstylist Mara Roszak styled her hair into a polished yet effortless ’90s-inspired blowout using Ghd Ceramic Vented Round Brushes and Rōz Evergreen Styling Cream.

“The look was soft, voluminous, with subtle bends — natural but refined,” Roszak explained.

Stone’s hair, paired with her elegant gown, reinforced why she remains one of Hollywood’s most consistently red-carpet-ready stars — and it turns out a $34 bottle plays a surprisingly big role.
