Country music superstar Luke Combs has marked a significant career milestone by releasing his sixth studio album, launching a stadium tour, and previewing his new Las Vegas venue.

The performer, 36, debuted "The Way I Am" on Friday before kicking off his latest tour dates on Saturday. Amidst these professional triumphs, Combs remains dedicated to his role as a father to his three young sons.

Describing the transition into parenthood with his wife, Nicole, he noted: "It's like, okay, well, let's just survive this storm of life, and it's a good storm, but a storm nonetheless."

The singer’s latest business venture, a three-story bar and live music space called Category 10, is scheduled to open this autumn. The name serves as a poignant reference to his 2016 debut single, "Hurricane".

Combs emphasises that his authenticity is paramount in every project he undertakes. "The level of success that I've been lucky enough to have at this point — which again was never expected, but — it comes with a responsibility," he explained.

He balances this fame by maintaining a domestic routine, taking his children to school before performing in front of thousands.

This productive period follows the 2024 release of his more personal project, "Fathers and Sons". Combs whittled down forty recorded tracks to create his current commercial offering, ensuring the final selection met his high standards.

As he looks toward the future, he plans to continue prioritising his family while expanding his brand. "I want people to, when they leave, they can go, 'Okay, well this guy really cared about this,'" he concluded.
