Selena Gomez is turning her music into a sweet treat. The singer and actress has teamed up with Serendipity Ice Cream and delivery service Gopuff to launch a new line of ice cream bars called “I Said I Love Blue First”, a playful nod to her 2025 album I Said I Love You First.

The flavor is inspired by her song “Bluest Flame”, which she co-created with husband Benny Blanco and reflects their shared personal stories.

Gomez described the project as a natural extension of the album: “When we started talking about creating a new product in honor of the album with Serendipity, we knew we wanted to use that song as our inspiration. I’m so happy with how it turned out.”

The ice cream bars feature a blue vanilla bean base swirled with fudge and cookie bits, encased in a chocolate candy shell. A box of four bars is priced at $7.49 and can be delivered in as little as 15 minutes via Gopuff.

Gomez, 33, emphasized the deeply personal nature of the album, which celebrates both the joys and complexities of relationships.

“This album is personal to me,” she said. “It’s a reflection of everything I’ve felt in relationships, both the good and the complicated parts, and the stage of life I was in when the album wrapped. Working on it with Benny made it even more meaningful because it’s really about both of our stories coming together.”

The Only Murders in the Building star also teased that another track, “Sunset Blvd,” could inspire a future ice cream flavor.

“Just the name alone already feels like it could be an ice cream flavor,” she said. “It sounds sweet and a little dreamy. And the song starts with ‘You’re my cherry pie,’ so we’d have to turn it into a cherry pie flavor.”

Gomez reflected on how working with Blanco helped her reconnect with music after a period of uncertainty following her 2020 album Rare.

She credited him with helping her find her sound organically, describing their creative process as unlike any she had experienced before.

The couple, who got engaged in December 2024, tied the knot in California on September 27, 2025, and this collaboration highlights how their personal and professional lives continue to intertwine in creative ways.
