Miley Cyrus shares bizarre Panda Express order from Disney era
The singer surprises fans with a strange food confession from her 'Hannah Montana' days
Miley Cyrus revisits her Hannah Montana era with a surprising behind-the-scenes confession — one that’s leaving fans both amused and bewildered.
The 33-year-old pop star, speaking on the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, opened up about her off-camera routine during the height of her Disney Channel fame — including what she now calls a “really gnarly” fast-food habit.
Cyrus revealed that after long filming days, she and co-star Emily Osment would frequently stop by Panda Express. But it wasn’t just the visits that stood out — it was her unusual order.
“I did something really gnarly,” Cyrus admitted, explaining that she would order white rice and pour Diet Coke over it instead of soy sauce.
“It’s a whole thing,” she added, before quickly defending the combination as a personal preference rooted in her Southern background.
The candid revelation is just one of several nostalgic moments Cyrus shared during the special, which celebrates two decades since Hannah Montana became a cultural phenomenon.
Elsewhere in the special, Cyrus reflected on her teenage years with disarming honesty, admitting she once had crushes on both Zac Efron and her co-star Mitchel Musso.
She also shed light on an early career decision that intertwined her personal and professional life, revealing that Jonas Brothers joined her 2006 Best of Both Worlds Tour largely because she was dating Nick Jonas at the time.
“Literally, the reason that the Jonas Brothers were on tour with me was because Nick was my boyfriend,” Cyrus said. “I didn’t want to leave him.”
The singer didn’t stop there. She also revisited the early days of Taylor Swift, recalling how Swift landed her cameo in Hannah Montana: The Movie. According to Cyrus, producers were looking for an artist who could authentically perform in a barn setting, a description that Swift fit perfectly at the time.
Cyrus added that their collaboration, “You'll Always Find Your Way Back Home,” remains a timeless favorite, calling it a “banger” that continues to resonate years later.
