Blake Lively has offered followers a candid and humorous glimpse into her domestic life following a successful April Fools’ Day prank orchestrated by her children.

On Wednesday, the Gossip Girl alumna took to her official Instagram account to document a classic "mischievous setup" discovered in her family home.

The actress shared a photograph of a toilet seat meticulously covered in clear plastic wrap—a prank attributed to the four children she shares with husband Ryan Reynolds.

Lively accompanied the post with a witty caption reflecting on her parenting choices. "I knew I never should've taught them how to read a calendar," she remarked, acknowledging her children's growing awareness of the annual day for practical jokes.

The lighthearted revelation comes as Reynolds continues to share anecdotes regarding their youngest child, Olin, who was born in 2023.

During an appearance at The Wall Street Journal’s CMO Council Summit in December, the Deadpool star revealed that his 2011 film Green Lantern—widely considered a critical disappointment—has become Olin’s favourite movie.

"You laugh, but my son, it's his favourite movie, and he watches it every f------ day," Reynolds told the audience. He joked about the personal growth required to "pass by that screen" without critiquing the production.
