Blake Lively's harassment lawsuit against Justin Baldoni dismissed weeks before trial

The lawsuit filed by Blake Lively against Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment has been dismissed, just before it was set to go to trial.

The actress claimed that during the filming of It Ends with Us, her co-star and director, Justin, behaved inappropriately.

On Thursday, the sexual harassment allegations were dismissed by a judge, as reported by TMZ.

Nonetheless, Blake’s other accusations, such as retaliation, are moving to trial the following month.

The former Gossip Girl star accused Justin of trying to damage her image after she claimed he fostered a toxic work atmosphere.

Conversely, Justin accused Blake and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, of attempting to defame him, practice extortion, and usurp creative control of the romantic movie.

He initially pursued a $400 million defamation lawsuit against Blake, but a judge dismissed it in November.

Blake and Justin are expected to appear in court on May 18.

The legal skirmish has also pulled in Blake’s close pal, Taylor Swift, reportedly causing friction between them.

In January, The US Sun exclusively reported that Blake's ongoing legal issues with Justin could potentially affect Taylor’s upcoming marriage to NFL’s Travis Kelce.

Detailed messages between Taylor and Blake about Blake's difficulties with Justin were revealed in the lawsuit.

According to TMZ, Taylor might be asked to testify as a hostile witness in the trial, which is set to occur close to her planned wedding with Travis.

The US Sun exclusively disclosed that Travis has advised Taylor to keep her distance from the legal matters and set clear limits.

Blake and Justin’s disagreement emerged as they began filming It Ends with Us in May 2023, playing characters in love on screen.

The film debuted in August 2024, and shortly after, Blake filed her complaint about Justin's conduct.

As of now, both Blake and Justin have not given an official comment on the dismissal.

Last week, Blake posted on Instagram about her “emotional roller coaster” while visiting Wales to support Wrexham AFC.

Her spouse, Ryan, has been co-owner of the team with actor Rob McElhenney since 2021.
