Lauren Conrad shares rare insight into daily routine with young sons

Star Lauren Conrad admits her children show little interest in her showbiz career

The lifestyle mogul and former television star Lauren Conrad has provided a candid glimpse into her grounded daily routine as a mother of two.

In a recent conversation with the Daily Mail, the 40-year-old entrepreneur detailed the "whirlwind" schedule she maintains with her sons, Liam and Charlie, whom she shares with her husband, William Tell.

Conrad revealed that her family's day typically commences at 6 a.m. to ensure the boys are prepared for their morning school run, which she personally handles every day.

A particularly sentimental aspect of her current lifestyle involves her children's extracurricular activities. Depending on the season, Conrad’s afternoons are occupied by football or baseball practices held in her own hometown.

"The fields they’re playing on are the same fields I played soccer on," she noted with a supportive "human touch," adding that she feels "really lucky" to raise her children in the same special environment where she grew up.

Despite Conrad’s enduring influence in the entertainment industry since the early 2000s, she admitted that her sons are entirely unfazed by her celebrity status.

"I don’t think they really understand, and I don’t think they’re that interested, to be honest," she remarked. While she occasionally attempts to share her professional achievements with them, she joked that their typical response is a simple "okay."

Though her sons may not yet grasp their mother's legacy, Conrad remains focused on providing them with a stable upbringing away from the Hollywood spotlight. She concluded by suggesting that while they may "get it" someday, she currently treasures their indifference as it allows for a more traditional family dynamic.
