Amazon unveils slimmest ever Fire TV Stick HD
Amazon has unveiled its slimmest Fire TV Stick HD yet, priced at $34.99
Amazon has unveiled a brand-new Fire TV Stick HD, claiming it's the thinnest they've created so far.
Priced at $34.99, this model is designed to be 30% slimmer than its predecessor, allowing you to power it right from your TV’s USB port.
The updated design negates the necessity for a separate power adapter when using the Fire TV Stick HD, enhancing convenience for travellers.
However, if your television lacks a USB port, you can power the Fire TV Stick HD using a USB-C cable along with a wall adapter, as suggested by Amazon.
The streaming stick includes the revamped Fire TV OS, with added compatibility for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.
It also features Alexa Plus, Amazon’s enhanced AI voice assistant, improved to comprehend and interact with natural language more effectively.
Moreover, Amazon intends to incorporate a new Adaptive Display accessibility feature in the Fire TV Stick HD, which will increase the size of text and menus “while keeping content artwork proportionately scaled.”
You can preorder the Fire TV Stick HD starting today, and it is expected to start shipping “by the end of the month” to customers located in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.
