Ethan Jamieson, best known for his role in the 2012 blockbuster "The Hunger Games", has been arrested for allegedly assaulting three men with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill.

The 27-year-old actor was taken into custody in Raleigh, North Carolina, following an incident involving a 9mm semi-automatic handgun.

According to reports from "TMZ" on Tuesday, Jamieson allegedly attacked three individuals whose identities have been protected in court documents, listed only by the initials E.F., J.M., and K.W.

This latest arrest follows a pattern of recent legal difficulties for the actor. Arrest reports indicate that Jamieson was previously apprehended in Raleigh during March 2025 for allegedly "resisting a public officer."

He was subsequently sentenced for that specific offence on 26 March, as reported by "People". The Raleigh Police Department has not yet released further details regarding the motive behind this week’s armed assault, but the severity of the charges suggests a significant escalation in his legal troubles.

Jamieson initially rose to fame as a guest star on "One Tree Hill" in 2009 before portraying the District 4 male tribute alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson.

Despite the global success of the franchise, Jamieson often expressed a desire to remain a "normal person" rather than pursuing a full-time acting career. His last professional credit was a 2013 appearance in the series "Justified".

Since then, he has largely remained out of the public eye, though he previously recalled his time on film sets with fondness, frequently mentioning the pranks he played with his high-profile co-stars.
