Doechii hints at future musical projects with Lady Gaga

Music enthusiasts may soon enjoy further collaborations between Doechii and Lady Gaga following their successful partnership on the soundtrack for "Devil Wears Prada 2."

The two artists recently joined forces for a new single titled "Runway," which was released last week to accompany the highly anticipated sequel to the 2006 fashion classic.

Doechii attended the 2026 Daily Front Row Fashion Awards on Tuesday, where she spoke warmly about her experience working with Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta.

During a conversation with E! News, the twenty-seven-year-old rapper hinted that their creative journey together is far from over.

Although she remained coy regarding specific details, she offered a tantalising glimpse into the future.

“I don’t want to say too much, because we have more to come, me and Gaga, but it was amazing working with her,” she noted.

The 'Anxiety' singer was full of praise for her collaborator, describing the pop icon as "an angel" and "truly a master at her craft."

Doechii expressed her delight regarding their current release, stating, "I hope everybody is enjoying ‘Runway.’"

The admiration appears to be mutual; in July 2025, Gaga told British Vogue, “You don't often see someone come out of the gate with a pen that feels immediately legendary. That's Doechii to me.”

Fans will not have to wait long to hear the pair's latest work in context, as the 'Devil Wears Prada 2' is scheduled for theatrical release on May 2.

This project follows Doechii’s rapid rise in the industry and Gaga’s continued dominance in both film and music.
