Eva Longoria has finally revealed the specific aspects of American life she misses most after relocating her family to Spain.

The fifty-one-year-old actress and producer, who was born in Texas and spent many years in Los Angeles, recently moved to a luxurious villa in Marbella with her husband, José Bastón, and their seven-year-old son, Santiago.

Speaking with People magazine to promote her latest travel series, Eva Longoria: Searching for France, she admitted that her roots still pull at her heartstrings.

"I miss my family, my Texas family…. [and] good Mexican food. That's what I miss. That's what's not in Europe, is good Mexican food," she explained.

Despite her cravings for home-grown cuisine, Longoria expressed a deep appreciation for the slower pace of life found in Marbella.

She noted that her husband and son particularly enjoy the European tradition of long, unhurried meals. "They love a long meal. You're never in a rush.

I don't miss the working lunch," the Desperate Housewives star quipped, describing the American habit of quick sandwiches as "stressful."

Additionally, she celebrated the lack of road congestion in her new home, sharing that she now walks almost everywhere to avoid traffic.

While moving abroad presents unique challenges for a working mother, Longoria continues to balance her personal life with high-profile professional projects.

Her new series, which explores French culture and cuisine, is currently airing weekly on CNN through to May 3.

Longoria originally rose to international stardom as Gabrielle Solis before becoming a prolific director and advocate for the Latino community in Hollywood.
