Dua Lipa to marry Callum Turner in Italy this September

Pop icon Dua Lipa and her actor partner Callum Turner are reportedly planning to wed in a few months, choosing a picturesque Italian location for their ceremony.

The duo is said to exchange their vows in September, a little over a year after they got engaged, as reported by a local Italian newspaper.

A wedding planner has been reportedly enlisted, with preparations forging ahead for the summer's end festivities.

Another Italian news outlet, La Repubblica, shares that many private jets will land in the country, bringing the superstar pair’s guests to the event.

Locals are already dubbing it as "the wedding of the year" with Dua, 30, and Callum, 36, hosting a grand two-day affair to celebrate their union.

She shared with British Vogue: “Yes, we’re engaged. It feels incredibly exciting. The idea of growing old together, building a life, and just being lifelong best friends — it’s really something special.”

Speculation among fans first arose the prior December when Dua was spotted wearing a diamond ring.

Dua previously expressed a desire to complete her tour, while Callum finishes his current film projects before taking some time to get married.

She noted: “I was never someone who fantasized about weddings or envisioned myself as a bride. Suddenly, I’m wondering: ‘What would I wear?’”

The couple began their relationship in January 2024, making a public appearance at a promotional event for Callum’s series, Masters of the Air.

Throughout early that year, they attended various event after-parties like the Grammys and the BRITs, and later, they confirmed their romance on social media that spring.

Since then, they have embarked on numerous fabulous vacations, frequently sharing cherished moments from beautiful spots.

Just last week, they embarked on an extraordinary safari adventure in South Africa, which Dua described as the most incredible trip of her life.

She described it as “an experience beyond words” and emphasized it as “one of those moments that stays with you forever” in a social media update.

Dua’s past partners included chef Isaac Carew and model Anwar Hadid.

Callum was previously involved with actress Vanessa Kirby, known for The Crown and Mission: Impossible. They parted ways in 2020.
