Nvidia invests in Jude Law-fronted legal AI firm Legora at $5.6bn valuation
Nvidia has made its first major move into AI-powered legal technology
Nvidia has expanded its aggressive artificial intelligence (AI) investment strategy by backing Swedish legal tech startup Legora in a new funding extension valuing the company at $5.6 billion.
Legora revealed that Nvidia’s venture capital arm, NVentures, joined a $50 million extension of its Series D round, taking the startup’s total fundraising to $600 million after an initial close in March.
The latest round also attracted support from Atlassian, Adams Street Partners and Insight.
The move highlights Nvidia’s continued push to deepen ties with promising AI firms worldwide as demand for industry-specific automation tools surges.
Nvidia has significantly increased startup investments while strengthening its broader AI ecosystem through technical support and infrastructure partnerships.
Legora develops AI agents designed to automate routine legal work, streamline documentation and improve workflow efficiency for lawyers and corporate legal departments.
The company recently launched a high-profile marketing campaign featuring Jude Law with the slogan, “Law just got more attractive.”
Chief executive Max Junestrand said enterprise AI is entering a new phase in which systems no longer simply assist workers but increasingly execute tasks with human oversight.
Legal AI is becoming one of the fastest-growing corners of the global tech boom. US-based rival Harvey also secured a massive funding round earlier this year, underscoring investor appetite for AI tools capable of transforming professional services.
Legora says it now serves tens of thousands of legal professionals worldwide and has surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue.
