Trinny Woodall shares practical approach to dating after years single

Trinny Woodall opened up about what she is looking for as she considers dating again, while making it clear that her next relationship will come with very different boundaries.

Speaking in a recent interview with Good Housekeeping, the fashion expert said she is ready to welcome companionship back into her life following her split from businessman Charles Saatchi in 2023.

However, Woodall emphasized that she has no intention of returning to a traditional living arrangement.

“I don’t want to live with anyone again,” she said, adding that she prefers maintaining her own space and routine.

She explained that after spending time on her own, she now values independence alongside companionship.

“I like my dog and my daughter… but I want companionship,” she said, noting she feels ready to explore dating again after several years single.

When it comes to meeting someone new, Woodall said she is taking a practical approach.

She suggested she would likely opt for casual lunch dates that fit into her busy schedule, rather than more formal or time-consuming setups.

“I might try a lunch date,” she said, adding that she would choose an outfit that is stylish yet functional, reflecting her preference for flexibility and ease.

Beyond her dating preferences, Woodall also reflected on her personal communication style, admitting she struggles to accept compliments even though she enjoys giving them to others.

She said she believes women, in particular, do not compliment each other enough and that she often observes people closely through their body language and behaviour.
