Miranda Kerr handled a last-minute wardrobe mishap with composure as she accepted an honor at a recent charity event.

The 43-year-old model and entrepreneur was recognized at the Living Beauty Cancer Foundation’s 2026 spring luncheon in Beverly Hills, where she encountered an unexpected issue moments before taking the stage — the zipper on her dress broke.

Despite the setback, Kerr proceeded with her appearance, carefully positioning herself to avoid revealing the malfunction while delivering her speech.

Speaking with People afterward, she acknowledged the incident with humor and ease.

“My zipper broke… that’s why I’m walking like this,” she said, adding that she remained hopeful she’d be able to get out of the dress later. “But that’s okay. We’re all human.”

During her remarks onstage, Kerr briefly addressed the situation, noting that more embarrassing mishaps have happened in the past, including losing a shoe mid-event.

The luncheon, hosted by the Living Beauty Cancer Foundation, honored Kerr for her contributions to wellness and philanthropy.

The nonprofit supports women living with cancer through holistic programs offered free of charge.

Beyond the red carpet moment, Kerr also spoke about her personal approach to well-being, highlighting meditation as a key part of her daily routine.

She shared that she has practiced meditation since her teens and has recently become more consistent with it.

The model added that her children have also embraced the practice, with her eldest son finding it particularly grounding.
