Grammy-winning artist Billie Eilish has shared a refreshing perspective on the natural ageing process, vowing to forgo cosmetic surgery as she looks toward the future.
Appearing on the Tuesday episode of Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast, the 24-year-old singer-songwriter discussed her evolving relationship with her physical identity and her firm stance against "going under the knife."
Reflecting on her rapid rise to fame, Eilish admitted she once struggled to envision herself beyond her teenage years. "I remember when I was 17, I was like, ‘Okay, I am the person I’ll be forever right now.’ And that’s not how it works, obviously," she told Poehler.
Now, the star says she is "so excited to age" and intends to leave her face and body unchanged by artificial enhancements. Her motivation is deeply personal, rooted in her desire to one day have children.
"I want my kids to look at me and have my face look like their face and not be some botched version of whatever the f--k is going on out there right now," she remarked.
This candid conversation follows previous comments to the Sunday Times, where Eilish expressed that motherhood is a significant life goal. Professionally, the singer remains as prolific as ever.
Following the recent cinematic release of Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D), which captured her performances in Manchester, she confirmed to Elle Magazine that her fourth studio album is already "more than halfway [done]."
As she balances global stardom, Eilish continues to champion authenticity over industry-imposed beauty standards.
