Katie Price has returned to the United Kingdom after travel disruptions in Dubai delayed her flight home.
The television personality arrived at Gatwick Airport on Saturday after her original flight was cancelled amid regional tensions and air travel disruptions in the Middle East. She was greeted by a friend who helped her with her luggage.
Price recently spoke about her experience in Dubai during an episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, which she recorded via video call with her sister, Sophie Price.
“I’m supposed to be flying home tomorrow and we’ve had alerts all day,” she said, describing hearing activity in the area and confirming that flights had been cancelled.
Price also said she felt safer in Dubai than in England, citing concerns about crime in the UK.
“Although that is going on here, you can leave your bag anywhere, walk around and feel safe,” she said. “In England, you’re scared to walk the streets.”
The former glamour model has been travelling frequently between the UK and Dubai since marrying her husband, Lee Price, in February.
During her return, Price appeared in a stylish airport outfit and kept a low profile after recent cosmetic treatments that she and her husband have publicly discussed.
