Mauricio Umansky fires back at Lala Kent over alleged coffee date message

Businessman Mauricio Umansky has publicly fired back at claims made by reality star Lala Kent, denying that he “slid into her DMs” to ask her on a coffee date and calling her accusation “not true.”

Speaking to TMZ, Umansky strongly rejected Kent’s version of events, escalating the feud between the two public figures.

“Oh man, she’s such a f–king liar it’s not even funny, dude,” he said. “Like, really? I was thinking about actually posting the post. But I’m gonna tell you, she’s a liar.”

The dispute stems from Kent’s recent claim that Umansky, the estranged husband of Kyle Richards, had contacted her via direct message after announcing his separation from Richards.

Kent alleged that Umansky invited her for coffee, but said she never opened the message because she had no intention of meeting him.

However, Umansky insisted the situation has been misrepresented, saying his message was taken out of context and was not a genuine date request.

“I did message her because she was talking s–t, and I said, ‘Hey, you wanna talk s–t about me, I’ll f–king talk to you,’” he explained, adding that the conversation escalated from there.

He further claimed that the final line of his message included the phrase “Let’s have coffee,” but only as part of a longer response, not a standalone invitation.

“She said in the podcast that she never opened the text,” Umansky said. “The last word on my text — and it’s a long text — says, ‘Let’s have coffee.’”

“And in her podcast, she says I invited [her] to have coffee. The only way she knew that I invited her to have a coffee is if she would’ve opened the f–king text,” he added.

The exchange has sparked renewed attention on both reality TV personalities, adding another chapter to the ongoing drama within their overlapping entertainment circles.
