Katie Price's Dubai move: Urgent legal aid, jail visit for Lee Andrews

Katie Price has shared updates from Dubai as she visits the courts, a prison, and a police station, all with the aim of aiding her husband, Lee Andrews, in securing his release.

The 48-year-old former glamour icon recently travelled to the Middle East to meet Lee, who has apparently been detained for several weeks at Al Awir prison.

Katie posted a video of herself wearing burgundy leggings and a matching top with a pink jacket tied around her waist.

She explained, “Today, even though it’s about 40 degrees outside, the places I’ve got to go today, you have to cover up hence the leggings, hence the jacket.

“I mean, I can’t hide these, but I’m covered,” as she pointed to her fake boobs.

She continued: “It’s skintight but I’m covered."

Katie said she intends to visit the courts, prison, and police to assist in securing Lee's release.

The public figure was initially very worried, fearing Lee might have been kidnapped.

“I’ve got to go to courts, prison and a police station. Not a visiting prison, but ‘the’ prison. And who knows today’s going to bring, I’ve had four hours sleep, not even that. I’m so tired, by the time we got to the hotel it was 3am," she continued.

“I couldn’t sleep, my mind was going like this. I’ve probably had an hour-and-a-half sleep and I still look like this. I’ve had to put a device in my new phone, my UK one is rubbish. Let’s go, today is an important day for me"

Last night, she shared on her story: “Behind every strong woman is a story that changed her. A heartbreak she didn’t see coming. A loss she never wanted. A battle she never asked to fight.

“She didn’t become strong because it was easy, she became strong because she had no other choice.

“And now? That strength is her power. Her resilience is her weapon. Her faith is her anchor. She may carry scars, but those scars shine as proof that she made it through.

“Strong women aren’t born, they’re built in the fire. And if you see one standing tall, know this: she carries a story of survival that turned into strength.”

Katie has been openly supporting her husband since the time Lee didn’t appear for a scheduled interview on Good Morning Britain last month.

The next day, Lee contacted Katie via a video call from the back of a van, hooded and with his hands restrained.

That was the last update Katie received from him for two weeks until he reached out with a brief call from jail, reassuring her about his condition.

Lee later claimed he was held on "suspicion of spying", which was promptly disproven.

Authorities revealed he hadn’t been charged with such an offence, and it was revealed that he’s detained over allegations related to a private, civil dispute.

It’s anticipated he might be freed on Monday if a fine, amounting to several thousand, is paid.

During his public absence, Lee's WhatsApp seemed to be intermittently active, and he even unfollowed Katie on Instagram at one point.

However, now she’s once again his sole follow on the platform.
