Katie Price has sat down with Lee Andrews' former wife, Dina Taji, in Dubai — and the pair have strongly hinted that a revealing podcast is on the way, following what appeared to be a candid and significant conversation between the two women.

The meeting took place just hours before Katie departed Dubai and returned to the UK, after spending time there in an effort to secure Lee's release from custody.

Why Lee remains behind bars

Lee Andrews has now been absent from public view for three weeks following his arrest on a civil matter. It is the alleged financial wrongdoing connected to his former marriage to Dina that ultimately led to the travel ban preventing him from joining Katie in the United Kingdom.

According to reports, Lee allegedly took out a £200,000 mortgage in Dina's name without her knowledge, shortly after the two wed. The claim prompted Dina to pursue legal action, and Lee has since been unable to leave the Emirates as a result.

Katie speaks out on the meeting

Katie addressed the encounter directly in a Facebook post, framing it as an act of solidarity between women.

"Women stick together and I came to Dina about one of the cases because I thought is Dina involved?" she wrote.

"Then obviously we had a cup of tea as girls do, we've had a long chat and that's for us to know and for you to find out in the future. On that note I'm glad we met," she added.

Dina's perspective

Dina, for her part, explained her motivation for agreeing to the face-to-face meeting in measured terms.

"Just out of respect, if there's anything I wanted to share and kind of warn her about anything it would be woman-to-woman, face-to-face," she said.

"I don't care about coming on here and all this noise that's happening," she added.

The £100,000 release demand

Meanwhile, the situation surrounding Lee's release has grown increasingly complicated. It had initially been understood that he could walk free upon payment of a four-figure fine. However, Katie has since revealed that the sum now demanded has risen dramatically to £100,000 — though Lee has allegedly assured her that he is able to raise the funds.

Katie previously disclosed that Lee had told her by telephone from Al Awir Central Prison that he was being held on spy charges, a claim the Dubai authorities have since disputed.
