Cindy Crawford reveals the rom-com she’s watched 'dozens of times' thanks to her kids

Supermodel Cindy Crawford has revealed that a 2006 teen comedy she once had little interest in has become one of the most-watched films in her household thanks to her children.

Speaking on the June 5 episode of the Gloss Angeles podcast, the 60-year-old model admitted she is not someone who typically re-watches films.

However, that rule went out the window after her kids, Presley and Kaia Gerber, introduced her to the rom-com She’s the Man.

“Probably the only movie I’ve seen dozens of times is She’s the Man, and here is why,” Crawford said. “I don’t like watching movies more than once. It’s just not a thing that I do. My kids do that.”

The 2006 film, starring Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum, quickly became a household favorite in the Crawford-Gerber home.

According to Crawford, her children were “obsessed” with the movie and would watch it repeatedly.

As the film played on a constant loop, Crawford said she gradually found herself drawn in as well.

“But my kids were obsessed with that movie,” she explained. “And I have to say, I kind of became obsessed with it too… I just thought it was so cute, and Amanda Bynes was so adorable in that, and Channing Tatum and just, it was adorable.”

She’s the Man, a modern adaptation loosely based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, follows Viola Hastings (Bynes), who disguises herself as her twin brother to join a boys’ soccer team at boarding school.

There, she develops unexpected feelings for her teammate Duke Orsino, played by Tatum.

Crawford shares two children with husband Rande Gerber Presley, born in 1999, and Kaia, born in 2001, both of whom have followed her into the modeling industry.

What began as background entertainment for her kids, it seems, turned into a shared family favorite for one of fashion’s most recognizable figures.
