Jeremy Clarkson gives shocking health update
Jeremy Clarkson shares news about medical condition during the final episodes of 'Clarkson’s Farm' Season 5
Jeremy Clarkson reveals that he has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, opening up about his health battle during the closing episodes of Clarkson’s Farm Season 5.
The 66-year-old television personality shared the news with fellow farm workers Charlie Ireland and Kaleb Cooper in scenes featured on the Prime Video series. Clarkson said he had known about the diagnosis since May after undergoing medical tests and a biopsy.
“I’ve got cancer,” Clarkson told his colleagues during the episode.
While declining to discuss the exact location of the disease in detail, he confirmed that doctors had identified an aggressive cancer but stressed that it had been caught at a very early stage.
Cancer was detected early
Explaining the situation, Clarkson said he had recently visited a doctor and undergone a biopsy, which led to the diagnosis.
According to the broadcaster, the timing of the news has complicated plans on the farm, as treatment is expected to take place during a crucial period of the agricultural season.
“I was praying we could get the harvest done, and then I could go and get some treatment, but it’s going to be slap bang in the middle,” Clarkson said.
Despite describing the cancer as aggressive, he expressed optimism because it was discovered early enough for doctors to intervene quickly.
Surgery planned as treatment begins
Clarkson revealed that he expects to undergo an operation within weeks and explained that while the procedure itself should be relatively straightforward, recovery could temporarily limit his ability to work.
“I’ll have to go and have an operation, and then, the operation is in and out in no time, but your body’s out of action for a little while,” he said.
The presenter later appeared in hospital scenes filmed for the series, reflecting on the journey he has experienced throughout the season.
After receiving treatment, Clarkson said doctors would continue monitoring his condition through follow-up blood tests to assess the success of the procedure.
Emotional message about the future of ‘Clarkson’s Farm’
In one of the season’s most emotional moments, Clarkson addressed viewers directly while discussing the uncertainty surrounding his recovery.
“What I wanted to say was if this is all successful, I’ll see you for Season 6, and if it isn’t, I won’t,” he said.
The season concludes with Clarkson telling viewers: “Take care, everyone.”
Prime Video star warned fans about difficult episodes
