The insider added that Lively was eager to repair their friendship, saying the situation was what had caused the distance between them.

A third insider claimed that Lively’s possible attendance at Swift’s wedding would not be because she was unwelcome, saying the two “never fully stopped being friends.”

Legal documents unsealed during Lively’s lawsuit against Baldoni reportedly included a private text exchange where Lively reached out to Swift, expressing concern that she had not been the best friend during a difficult time.
Swift reportedly responded by saying Lively had not done anything wrong but admitted she had felt some distance between them.
The singer reportedly told Lively that she missed their usual friendship and wanted their connection to return to normal.
