Katie Price welcomes new puppy with Lee Andrews
Katie Price welcomed a new husky puppy following a series of personal challenges
- Katie Price and Lee Andrews bought a husky puppy named Chomsky in Dubai.
- The purchase follows the recent disappearance of Price's two Sphynx cats at home.
- Andrews was recently detained by Dubai authorities on suspicion of espionage before the buy.
Television personality Katie Price and her husband Lee Andrews purchased a husky puppy during a trip to Dubai on Saturday. The couple bought the male pet puppy from a local shop, where they filmed videos of themselves completing the acquisition paperwork and interacting with the animal. In the footage, the pair embraced the dog, which they named Chomsky, and referred to him as their baby boy. Official documents displayed in the video recordings confirmed both individuals as the registered owners.
The acquisition follows a challenging period for the couple, marked by the recent disappearance of two Sphynx cats from their United Kingdom home. Price previously disclosed that the felines went missing while she was travelling in Dubai. Although one cat returned, the other remains missing. This incident adds to a history of pet losses for the media figure, who has seen at least eight of her animals die in accidents or pass away unexpectedly in her care over several years.
The introduction of the pet puppy also comes after weeks of uncertainty surrounding the detention of Andrews in Dubai. He initially vanished before a scheduled joint appearance on the television programme Good Morning Britain, leaving his wife unable to establish contact for several weeks. Andrews later stated authorities detained him on suspicion of espionage, though subsequent reports connected the case to a private civil matter. Andrews has denied those assertions.
The purchase took place one day before the couple was scheduled to appear in a joint interview addressing recent controversies. The broadcast, titled Katie Price Presents: Roast of Hubby Lee Andrews – Unanswered Questions, is expected to feature discussions regarding allegations of fraud, unpaid debts, and challenges to his professional background, all of which Andrews has denied. Additionally, Price is preparing for the premiere of her upcoming documentary, Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, which is scheduled for release on July 8, 2026.
